Salary Range: $4372 - $10,792/Monthly

Work Schedule: Full-Time, days and work schedule to be determined. Exempt classification. Temporary appointment expires on or before one year from the date of hire, may be extended, may become permanent.

 

Essential Functions: Directly reporting to the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology, the incumbent will work with the College Information Technology Consultant (ITC) team in developing, implementing and maintaining the digital infrastructure. The incumbent will provide effective IT consultation and support to faculty/staff in support of the ECST mission and goals and abide by CSU and campus policies, standards, and procedures related to information security for the College of ECST. The incumbent will also support the Electrical and Computer Engineering Labs as well as the Computer Science Senior Design Project

Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study; and two years of computer user consultation with emphasis in a multi-platform computing environment. Incumbent must possess a thorough foundation of knowledge and skills in technical information systems and application program packages; circuit design; electronic devices; computer hardware; and computer networks. Knowledge of: server setup, deployment, and maintenance; technologies including hardware interface, remote laboratory, and cloud laboratory server; software installation and maintenance; and familiarity with OS system configurations and package managers in Linux. Strong communication and team skills. Ability to create scripts in Python and similar languages
