PROCUREMENT CARD COORDINATOR 
Administrative Analyst/Specialist
Budget and Compliance 

Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,347/Monthly

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions: Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Budget and Administrative Compliance, the incumbent provides coordination over the distribution of procurement cards, training to cardholders, serves as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for the procurement card program for all cardholders, and facilitates the monthly reconciliation process for all campus-issued procurement cards. The incumbent is responsible for the daily management, administration, customer support, improvement, enforcement, and organizational effectiveness of the procurement card program. Incumbent performs ProCard Administration involving a wide range of procedures using initiative and judgment in analyzing information and determining a course of action within the specifications of standard practice and established guidelines of CSLA, CSU, State procurement policies and regulations. Other duties include making independent decisions to resolve daily issues with the p-card program to include disputes, lost/stolen, fraudulent transactions and other urgent and escalating issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing as well as critical thinking skills and independent judgement. The incumbent must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. The incumbent must have the ability to multi-task effectively; work collaboratively within a team; and perform administrative duties with minimal direction. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current California State University employees who may apply for the position.
