Salary Range: $4,678 - $11,547/Monthly

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; exempt classification.

Essential Functions: The incumbent, under the general direction of the Interim CIO, serves as a technical analyst and interface between the functional end-users and Information Technology Services related to enterprise data for all PeopleSoft systems including, HRM, Student Administration, and the Common Financial System (CFS). The incumbent determines project requirements, prepares project plans, identifies project priorities, determines programming tasks, and documents new processes as well as changes to existing processes. The incumbent analyses campus data requirements, develops data models, and identifies and resolves modeling and integration issues. The incumbent establishes data access security profiles, develops backup procedures for data applications and maintain and audit trail of security maintenance activity.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Incumbent must possess: a bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related field from an accredited four-year college or university or similar certified coursework in applicable field of study; five years’ experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of a comparable Service Management tool; experience diagnosing and identifying campus resolutions; demonstrable skills in problem resolution, data gathering, requirements definition, analysis, and design; demonstrable ability to prepare written documentation, including college-level writing and grammatical skills; demonstrable excellent verbal communication skills; strong oral, listening, and interpersonal skills; demonstrable ability to perform simultaneous tasks without degradation in work integrity; and ability to act decisively under stressful situations. Incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.
