Salary Range: $7,020 - $13,594/Monthly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $9,167 - $11,667/Monthly)

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; exempt classification.

Essential Functions: The incumbent, under the general direction of the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications, serves as the senior Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that seamlessly connect different university systems, applications, and third-party services using the Boomi Integration Platform. In addition, the Integration Developer will also be a champion for building the cloud-first strategy and implementing best-in­class cloud solutions and integrations that deliver web services and application platforms that meet end-user needs. As an integral member of the Enterprise Applications team, the incumbent will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver innovative integration solutions that meet the University's business requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact our technological evolution and the success of our business. Other responsibilities include: design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies including but not limited to Boomi Atom Sphere platform; collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design integration solutions that meet the system integration objectives; develop, configure, and customize Boomi components such as connectors, maps, processes, and API's to facilitate seamless communication between different systems, platforms, and applications; optimize integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability; perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of integration solutions to ensure reliability and performance; develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, integration processes, workflows, configurations, deployment guides, and test plans; perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of delivered solutions; configure and deploy integration solutions across various environments, including development, testing, and production; seeks training, workshops, and professional development opportunities for continued formal learning; reads journals, magazines, and websites to stay informed; exhibits a personal standard of excellence through an organized work area, dress, speech, and actions; and improves the quality of service provided by staff and student assistants by providing leadership training, coaching, and intervening when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Five (5) or more years of experience in designing and developing integration solutions using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and enterprise service bus (ESB) architecture. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Strong proficiency in configuring Boomi components including connectors, maps, processes, and APis. Strong understanding of integration concepts such as RESTful APis, SOAP services, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and messaging protocols. Solid understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data formats (XML, JSON). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Must possess the ability to act decisively under stressful situations. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Desired Qualifications: Master's degree; experience with cloud-based integration platforms and technologies (e.g., A WS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); previous California State University experience; and certifications such as Boomi Developer Certification or Boomi Integration Developer I/II Certification is preferred.
