The Department of Kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton, invites applications for a tenure‐track Assistant Professor position in Pedagogy/Teacher Education with an appointment to begin Fall 2025. We are seeking candidates who will be working in an established physical education teacher education program in Southern California that serves a culturally diverse student body within the Teacher Education Program and the University at large. The Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics is responsible for the leadership, oversight and daily management of the Chico State competitive NCAA Division II intercollegiate Athletic program. Includes setting a vision for the program that aligns with campus values and priorities as well as the values and priorities of NCAA Division II. Serve as the primary administrator for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Duties include development and implementation of department policy and procedure; fiscal management of athletics operating budget; supervision of coaches and staff; provide leadership to program to keep program aligned with University mission and strategic plan; provide leadership to ensure that athletic program is following university, CSU, CCAA and NCAA policy and procedure; complete annual reporting locally and federally as required by policy; provide leadership and oversight of policy and practice to ensure that student-athlete welfare is a priority; oversee travel and coordination of logistics for teams traveling to championship tournaments.

The Department of Anthropology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2024 to teach Anthropology 328: Body and Identity. This course explores the social construction and performances of the body and identity through a cross-cultural look at definitions and meanings of the body, codes inscribed on it by our everyday practices (wearing makeup, working out), and choices of decorative markers (clothing, jewelry, tattoos, piercings). How are gender, race, ethnicity, and power status signaled by the body? How is rebellion enacted through the body? Anthropological perspectives are used to explore how people approach these issues across cultural, economic, political, social, and religious contexts.

Under general instruction, incumbent will staff the front counter/public service area for Office of the Registrar which is located in the main lobby of the Student Services Center. Will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, will serve a large and varied population of students, staff, faculty, parents and campus visitors, and is responsible for Records and Registration processing. Day-to-day work is performed relatively independently with general instructions except for new assignments. The Office of the Registrar is comprised of Articulation, Degree Audit Programming, Graduation Advising, Student Records and Registration, and Veterans Affairs. The office serves as the point of contact for campus staff, faculty, students, and outside agencies on questions related to the student information system operation and the student academic record. Daily operations ensure the accuracy and integrity of the student academic record and registration processes for all students.
